HOW DOES IT WORK?

STEP 1

Reach out to hello@francovolpiphotography.com or click on the “BOOK” button below to schedule a brief phone consultation, no strings attached. On the call we will go through your existing/dream brand identity, your expectations, and what happens during the day of the shoot. This is a great time for you to ask any questions you might have. This will only take about 15 minutes. At the end of our call I’ll send you a booking calendar so you can choose time and date for your photoshoot, along with a short questionnaire to help me prepare ahead for your shoot.
STEP 2

Once you’ve picked a date/time slot for your shoot, you will receive a payment link for your session. Your booking will be secured once payment is processed. Now your photoshoot is booked and it’s time to choose your outfit(s) for the day! Any questions you might have between now and the day of your shoot please go ahead and fire away at hello@francovolpiphotography.com.
STEP 3

Photoshoot day: this is when we get to have fun! Whether in the studio or on location, we will go through different poses, lighting set-ups, candid shots, and outfit/make-up changes. We will take as many breaks as we need (being in front of a camera is unsuspectingly hard work!) and I will show you a few sneak peeks as we go. You’ll get to pick the music (unless you want to listen to American dad-rock for hours) and we’ll end the day with a couple of behind-the-scenes shots for your social media (I hear they’re all the rave now).
STEP 3.5

More hands on info about photoshoot day:
if we’re shooting on location I will bring my mobile studio with me. This means we can set up colour/neutral backgrounds for studio light portraits. We’ll also take posed and candid shots of you in your working or living environment. I will direct you and pose you so that we can nail every shot. The whole process will last about 2 hours for recurring shoots and 4 for your first branding photoshoot.
If we’re shooting in studio, the scenario will be as above, with the exception of a more controlled environment, so we can experiment more with lights for an even more pronounced “fashion” look (if that’s what you’re after). You are free to bring any props you like in the studio, and we’ll have the time for multiple clothing/makeup changes. Session time will be 1 hour for headshots up to 4 hours for personal brand shoots.
STEP 4

Your photos will be edited and ready within 7 business days of your shoot. You will be able to view and download all your high-resolution images via private online gallery. Should you wish to have one or more photos professionally printed, please let me know and I will send you a price list and wait times (usually not more than 5 business days).

We’ll cover everything-prep in our pre-booking phone call and emails, but generally just pick an outfit you love and relax. It might feel a little awkward at first but I promise it’ll be fun!
I take an approach that’s more akin to that of a fashion photoshoot, with candid shots in between posed ones, and soft cinematic studio lighting. This results in striking images that break the mould of the usual boring branding shots.
Sometimes proper headshots are all you need to revamp your online image (think new Linkedin photos). A brand photoshoot will radically update your website and social media presence with a fresh look that can be based on your existing vibe or built from the ground up. Headshots if you just want to freshen-up your image. Brand photoshoot if you want to capture and captivate new and existing audiences.
I don’t offer refunds unless I fail to provide the service you booked due to technical issues. But rest assured, we will go through some of the shots I take during the day together, so that you can let me know if you’d like to change lighting/poses/outfits. I can also assure you that my editing style is consistent and will not stray from what you can see on my website and social media.
You can cancel for a full refund up to 7 days before your photoshoot date. Any cancellation after that time period will incur in a cancellation fee of 50% of the total amount of your booking. Rescheduling is not always possible, so please let me know as soon as possible so you don’t risk losing 50% of your booking costs.

Wear anything you like! Solid colours (apart from solid black) usually work best with my editing style, but ultimately you’ll look your best when you’re feeling great. So wear something you love and feel fantastic in!
I also recommend having at least one full change of clothes at hand.
Studio for consistent light and that “fashion magazine” look. On location for lifestyle/work environment shots. Do you sell/make physical products/art? On location is best, we want to show you in your element. Are you selling services/is your product yourself? Then you can’t beat a good old fashioned studio shoot!
7 business days after your photoshoot.
Nope! Half the magic is in how I edit my photos. I shoot my raw images with specific settings so that they’re “primed” for editing. I can guarantee you that the RAW files will look like nothing to write home about. That’s just the truth!
I deliver a minimum of 5 edited images per every hour that we shoot. This is just a minimum amount, when in reality it almost always ends up being more.
I am awful in front of a camera! Do you know what helps? Having a professional photographer at the other end of the camera directing you on how to pose/act! Even movie stars don’t look that good just by chance!
Yes I can! Well, not me literally, but I have all my prints made at The Print Space in London. My screen is calibrated to their printers for perfect colour reproduction, plus they’ll print on high quality museum grade paper. Just let me know what images you’d like to print (and in what size), and I’ll send a quote your way. Print + delivery usually takes about 7 working days average.
Yes, just let me know ahead of your photoshoot! We will swap flash lights for continuous lights (think big LED light) and take as many breaks as we need. If LED lights pose any kind of a risk with your condition, we will use natural light only. There’s always a way and it’s always fun!
Absolutely not! If you’re comfortable enough to let me know ahead of time, I can plan for poses that will be easy to maintain, set up my mobile studio accordingly (if required) and/or make sure there are no access obstacles to the studio (if applicable).
